Following last year’s successful release of Holtek’s first 32-bit Flash MCU devices using the ARM® Cortex™-M3 core, the HT32F125x series, Holtek is now delighted to announce the release of new advanced additions to the 32-bit device range, the HT32F1755/1765/2755 series.

These new 32-bit Flash devices, include features such as a high operating speed of up to 72MHz (90 DMIPS), a single power supply with an operating voltage range of 2.7V~3.6V and an industrial temperature range of -40℃~85℃. With Holtek’s ISP (In-System Programming) and IAP (In-Application Programming) integrated functions, users will find the implementation of software upgrades an easy and quick process, thus enhancing the efficiency and flexibility to the products.

The HT32F1755/1765/2755 series devices contain 128K bytes of Flash Program Memory and 32K~64K bytes of SRAM Data Memory together with a newly designed 12-channel PDMA for higher efficiency applications. The integrated Timer Module can implement functions such as Timer/Counter, Capture, Compare, Single Pulse Output, PWM modes and also provide QEI, Hall Sensor interface features and special complementary PWM outputs. Together with an 8-channel 12-bit 1Msps high speed A/D converter, these new devices can meet the requirements of three-phase motor control applications. With regard to the HT32F2755 device, Holtek provides an additional high-speed CMOS sensor camera interface with the frame rate up to 30 frames/s for QVGA(320x240) format.

The devices provide multiple power saving management modes, power-on reset (POR), multi-level low voltage detection (LVD), brownout detection (BOD) and etc. In addition to an external crystal oscillator, the devices also contain accurate internal RC oscillators that provide both 8MHz and 32kHz frequency clock sources. An internal clock monitor function is used to automatically switch to the internal oscillator when an invalid external crystal oscillator situation arises.

The devices are supplied in 48/64/100-pin LQFP package types and contain up to 33/46/80 GPIO pins. Additional functions include a USB 2.0 FS Device interface, two USART interfaces, two SPI interfaces, two I2C interfaces, Real Time Clock, Operational Amplifiers, Comparators and etc. These devices are suitable for a wide range of applications such as fingerprint recognition, three-phase motor control, medical products, computer peripherals, home appliances, personal health care products, portable devices and so on.

The HT32F1755/1765/2755 series devices are well supported by professional IDE suppliers including IAR, Keil and CooCox. Besides, Holtek also provides its own low cost development tools, the debugging adaptor e-Link32, an extensive software program library as well as the application development handbooks. This suite of supporting tools will ensure efficient environment and debugging resources during their product development.
